Assessing the effectiveness of using western movies in elucidating economic concepts

The use of innovative techniques in teaching and learning has gained ground Malaysian higher education institutions. Educators a variety modern methods to enhance the delivery contents academic subjects, including economics. Among various approaches, educators movies elucidate economic concepts relate them real-world phenomenon. Using questionnaire survey, this study aims assess effectiveness using western explaining first semester undergraduate students who took introductory courses at Faculty Business Management UiTM Sarawak. Our results show positive responses on reaction levels perceived outcomes by with average mean scores 7.48. However, reveal that there was no association between students' assessment marks individual achievement. Several recommendations are advanced digital economics education.
